2019 is the 5th year the gala is being held to raise funds and awareness about its programs and further strengthen its volunteer base already comprising of a few hundred community members.

The planned use of funds raised include:

• Building of support resources for parents of newly diagnosed special needs children

• Targeted research with culturally competent treatment services to enhance outcomes of south asian patients with Diabetes.
