The mission of SCOPE (Special needs Community Outreach Program for Empowerment) is to support South Asian families of children with special needs through activities that educate, advocate, and empower.

Ongoing parent-to-parent mentoring facilitates mutual support and understanding. A Parent Support Specialist connects families to needed resources.

While some special needs may have a genetic component, many are multifactorial (having more than one cause).
